Practical tools
AI is one tool among many. Use it alongside your judgment and experience to work on a real challenge.
A Community Capacity Initiative
BUILD RED OAK brings people together around real ideas, real challenges, and real opportunities. Connection is infrastructure. Action is the outcome.
BUILD RED OAK | An Ideas-to-Action Workshop
Friday, December 11, 2026 | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Red Oak Government Center Community Room | Red Oak, Texas
Ideas, skills, relationships, tools, and resources already exist in the community. BUILD RED OAK helps people connect them and put them to work.
Get clearer about what you want to build or change.
Put AI and other useful tools to work on a real need.
Meet people who can share knowledge, resources, or perspective.
Leave with a next move you can put into practice.
Already here
BUILD RED OAK is not about outsiders arriving to fix a place. It helps people discover, connect, and activate the knowledge, ability, relationships, and possibility already present locally.
AI is one tool among many. Use it alongside your judgment and experience to work on a real challenge.
The community’s experience, ideas, and expertise are valuable starting points.
Useful relationships help people find knowledge, resources, and ways forward.
December 11 is one activation of the larger initiative—not all that BUILD RED OAK is. Participants work on something real, make useful connections, and identify a concrete next step.
The December BUILD RED OAK activation is being developed through the Google Data Center Community AI Fellowship, powered by Watson Institute, in connection with IAEC (Inter-American Educational Consortium).
This is practical work, not a day spent listening to speakers. Bring something real and work on it with others.
Give a promising thought room to become a practical next move.
Work through a real opportunity or challenge with fresh perspective.
Bring your skills, experience, or resources into the conversation.
Bring an idea, a business, a project, a challenge, or something you can contribute. There’s a place for practical work and useful connection in BUILD RED OAK.
REGISTERCome ready to share what you’re working on, what you’re trying to solve, or what you can offer. Help discover and connect the capacity already here.
